Joining us will be Adelaide Zwick, Program Manager of Advocacy and Campaigns with Planned Parenthood Illinois Action to discuss the future of reproductive rights in Illinois. The US Supreme Court is poised to issue a decision in June that could drastically change the abortion rights landscape across the country. While we are fortunate to have a pro-choice governor and legislature in Illinois, abortion rights in our state could easily come under attack if we do not elect the right people to protect them. We look forward to this important discussion about the implications of the upcoming SCOTUS decision and how Illinoisans can ensure abortion stays legal and accessible in our state.

Addie Zwick (she/her) has worked in reproductive rights and electoral organizing for the last six years. In 2019, she joined the Planned Parenthood of Illinois team as a community engagement specialist in Decatur, IL and now works as a program manager with PPIL’s public policy team, where she specializes in youth and young adults organizing and strengthening the patient-to-advocate pipeline.

We also encourage all of our IDWOW member candidates in good standing to present campaign updates to our membership. We ask that you limit your speaking time to 3 minutes to ensure everyone has time to speak.
