Join MomsRising for a special training on Uprooting White Supremacy that is being offered exclusively to our volunteer leaders.

The training will be facilitated by AORTA, and will take place on Tuesday, February 28 8-10 pm ET/ 5-7 pm PT in both English and Spanish. In this training, we will unpack the common ways that white supremacy tends to show up inside of social change. AORTA will share specific examples from their work with hundreds of nonprofits, grassroots organizations, academic institutions, worker co-ops, and progressive businesses; highlight common challenges and missteps in policy and practices; and lay the groundwork for ongoing discussion and change work.

Areas of focus will be tailored for MomsRising’s volunteer leaders, including leadership development. Beacons will leave the training with practical tools on how to build equitable relationships and communities; and how to manage conflict and feedback.
