DESCRIPTION:A bus is travelling around the country collecting signatures on petitions to tell our Senators to vote ‘Yes’ on the SAVE Act. The SAVE Act is purported to be needed to prevent ‘illegals’ from voting\, but it’s true purpose to to disenfranchise millions of legitimate votes – women\, trans\, and non-binary persons in particular. \nWhile it is hightly unlikely our Senators Durbin and Duckworth would even consider voting ‘Yes’ on this bill\, we need to show up to show these outside agitators that they are not welcome in our community or anywhere in Illinois.

We are partnering with the Dyson Wellness Center to build kits for NCC students to protect their mental and reproductive health. We are collecting food for our students and local food bank. Kim Villanueva\, our newly elected president of NOW\, will stop by. We will present our annual awards. We are also throwing in a bit of business with officer elections and action plan resolutions.
