Once again, Will County NOW will be conducting it’s annual period products drive in support of Period Action Day on October 12th. Starting mid-September we will be placing collection boxes in Libraries across Will County.

Period Products (in un-opened packaged) needed:

• Sanitary Pads (all sizes)
• Tampons (all sizes)
• Panty Liners
• Menstrual Cups (all sizes)
• Period Underwear (like Knix) (all sizes)

Items collected will be donated to the following across Will County:

• Women’s shelters
• Homeless shelters
• Food banks
• Immigrant services
• Other low-income services

Volunteers are needed for the following:

• Contact libraries to encourage them to participate
• Contact potential recipient organizations
• Drop off and pick up collection boxes at their local library
• Help sort the collected products after Oct 12
• Help deliver the collected products to the recipient organizations
