Consolidated Elections occur on the first Tuesday of April during every odd year in Illinois. This year, the Consolidated Election is being held on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025.

During the Consolidated Election, citizens have the opportunity to vote for:

• City Councils
• Mayors
• School Boards
• Library Boards
• Park Districts
• Fire Districts
• Highway Commissioners
• Township Officials
• and other local elected officials

In many ways these local elections have a more direct impact on your daily life than State or Federal elections.
