It’s that time of year again – time to fight period poverty in our area.
We will once again be collection period products through October 14th to be donated to a couple of local non-profits for distribution. This year we will be donating to the Northern Illinois Food Bank – South Suburban Center in Joliet and the Southwest Suburban Immigrant Project (who has been helping the migrants that have been sent her from Texas).
Reach out to your family, friends, and co-workers to collect products (pads, tampons, panty liners, menstrual cups, etc.) yourself and then contact us for your closest drop-off location (or arrange for a pickup if there isn’t one close to you).
