July is Disability Pride Month

Disability Pride Month commemorates the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26, 1990.

The purpose of Disability Pride Month is:

  • To celebrate the achievements, contributions, and experiences of people with disabilities.
  • To raise awareness about disability rights and issues.
  • To promote inclusion and accessibility for all.
