ACT NOW Ticket Wins National NOW Election

Dear NOW Member,

This morning, we received official word from Bear Atwood, Vice President of National NOW: the votes have been tallied, and the Act NOW slate has won the 2025–2029 officer elections.

We are deeply honored to share this news with you. With 340 votes—more than 76%—we’ve been entrusted with leading this organization we all cherish. Our opponents, Kat Duesterhaus and Triana Arnold James of the IGNITE NOW slate, received 102 votes. We want to take a moment to thank them for their service, and we hope we’ll work together in the spirit of shared commitment to feminist values in the years ahead.

To all who voted, supported, organized, phone banked, traveled, stood up, and spoke out—thank you. This campaign wasn’t about any one of us. It was about all of us: the women who founded this movement, the activists building its future, and the generations of feminists who still depend on our strength.

We’ve said throughout this campaign that the future of NOW is not about restoration—it’s about reimagination. And now, with your trust and support, that future begins.

We’ll be back in touch shortly with more news about next steps, priorities, and ways you can continue to help shape a stronger, more inclusive, more action-driven NOW.

With pride and resolve,

Kim & Rose
